After over two decades accumulating experience in the IT industry Joel Scully created the business to focus on his passion for customer service and technical advisory.
The name Junius Solutions is an amalgamation of his two children's names, Juniper and Cassius. Junius is apparently a real word, meaning the month of June on the ancient Roman calendar. There's no relevance to this in our name however. We just thought it sounded nice, plus Cassiper didn't quite have the same ring to it.
Utilising the accumulated experience from a career spanning over 22 years of technical functions in a variety of industries Joel has seen and done a lot in the IT space. All-nighters in data centres deploying power redundancy tools. Technology training for local government across Australia. Incident response strategies for cybersecurity breaches. A couple thousand printer issues. Last-minute national VoIP system cutovers.
Joel utilises best in class technologies from reliable partners and leverages off a trusted network of IT professionals for solution architecture and technology strategies. Having many years of experience managing and maintaining mission critical client environments with 100+ servers across multiple sites with limited resources he focuses his efforts on creating risk averse, reliable and scalable solutions.
Joel has a keen interest in business acumen and the functions of each department within a business. The relationship which each team has with technology can be challenging at times but always fascinating.
